Police in train sex assault plea
police are hunting a man who sexually assaulted a 19-year-old Leeds woman on a train.
The attack happened on the 5.11pm Manchester Piccadilly to Scarborough service on Thursday August 23 at about 5.30pm. During it, the man exposed himself.
Pc Tahira Bibi, of British Transport Police, said: “This was an extremely distressing experience for the victim and we are determined to catch the man responsible.”
The man is described as slim, Asian, 5ft 10in tall, aged around 20 and wore a short sleeved red checked shirt and rucksack. He is believed to have travelled on to Bradford.
