Police probe report of rape in Keighley park

Police are investigating a report of a woman being raped in a Keighley park.

A forensic tent has been erected in Victoria Park and part of the footpath has been cordoned off.

Chief Inspector Suzanne Akeroyd, of Bradford District Police, said: “Police are investigating a report of a serious sexual assault on a 20-year-old woman.

“The offence is alleged to have taken place on Thursday at around 10pm in Victoria Park, Keighley.

“Specially trained officers are liaising with the victim to establish the full circumstances and enquiries are ongoing.”
