Police slam 'disgusting behaviour' as patrol car is spat on

A police car has been taken off patrols after a member of the public spat on it.

Humberside Police posted about the "disgusting behaviour" on their Facebook page on Saturday.

It happened while Hull Team Four Patrol were attending an incident in Buckingham Street.

The team posted: "Whilst attending a job on Buckingham Street this afternoon a delightful member of the public decided it would be a great idea to spit all over our patrol car.

"Disgusting behaviour.

"The car has to now be thoroughly cleaned, taking it off the road."
