Punch victim dead after attack in Halifax nightclub

A MAN has died after he was attacked in a Halifax nightclub in the early hours today. (SUN)

The 38-year-old was punched during an incident just before 2.30am at Liquid nightclub on Wards End in the Commercial Street area of Halifax.

Paramedics attempted to revive the man, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police believe the man who threw the punch will probably not know what happened to the victim.

Det Chf Insp Nick Wallen of West Yorkshire Police, said: “We believe this man left the venue almost immediately afterwards, so he will probably not know the outcome of his actions.

“That is why I am appealing for him and any other witnesses to this incident to come forward and help the police with their enquiries.”
