Sheffield schools on alert after ‘masked man’ tries to grab boy
POLICE are investigating after reports a “masked man” tried to grab a boy in Millhouses Park, Sheffield.
South Yorkshire Police said they had received reports of the incident at 9.30am today while boy was out jogging with his mother. Neither were injured in the incident.
An alert was issued to parents of children at nearby Silverdale School following the incident, suggesting the man was masked and wearing gloves.

Hide AdA police spokesman said it was an isolated incident and inquiries were ongoing.
Police patrols offering reassurance to local people had been stepped up in the area.
