Teen girl injured in shooting on Sheffield estate

A 13-YEAR-OLD girl was injured last night during one of three shooting incidents on a Sheffield housing estate.

South Yorkshire Police say the three incidents in Parson Cross are linked and have launched an investigation to find those responsible.

Between 9.30pm and 11.10pm officers were called to three separate reports of shots being fired at properties in Barrie Crescent, Lindsay Avenue and Deerlands Avenue.

In one incident, a 13-year-old girl sustained minor injuries in Deerlands Avenue, where it is reported shots were fired at the door of a property.

In Barrie Crescent and Lindsay Avenue, it is reported that shots were fired at vehicles, causing damage.
