Teenager groped by '˜baby-faced' pervert in Leeds shoe shop

A teenager was groped by a baby-faced pervert in a shoe shop in Leeds.

Police have released a CCTV image of a youth they want to find after the 19-year-old woman as sexually assaulted in Foot Asylum, on Lands Lane in the city centre.

She was looking at footwear when five youths entered the store. One groped her before running out of the shop.

PCSO Mark Edkins, of the City Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “This was clearly a really distressing experience for the victim to be assaulted in this way and we urgently need to hear from anyone who knows the identity of the male on the CCTV image.”

The suspect was described as white, aged 16 to 18 and fat, with a baby face.

He was wearing a dark blue Nike hoody with a small white logo on the chest, dark jogging bottoms, a dark blue baseball cap and dark trainers with white laces.

The incident happened at about 3pm on Wednesday, December 9 last year.
