West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue service called to fire on Pule Hill area of Marsden Moor in Yorkshire

The fire service are currently attending a fire on Marsden Moor.

West Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service (WYFRS) confirmed it was called to the Pule Hill area of the moor at around 4.30pm on Thursday, April 20.

The force said: “We are currently in attendance at a wildfire at Pule Hill, Marsden. Presently, 10 pumps are in attendance, alongside wildfire officers and drone.

Please avoid the area.”

The public are advised to stay away from the area.

WYFRS confirmed firefighters were “ahead of the fire” shortly before 6pm.
