Witnesses to 15-man pub brawl needed

Police have issued a new appeal for information about a brawl involving 15 men at a Leeds pub earlier this year.

Officers were called to The Dragon Hotel public house, on Whitehall Road, following reports of a fight involving about 15 men.

Punches and kicks were exchanged as two of the suspects went behind the bar and glasses and bottles were thrown at 9.20pm on January 26.

All those involved had left the scene by the time police arrived and no-one was found with any injuries.

A 35-year-old man from Leeds was arrested in April on suspicion of affray and was later released on police bail pending further enquiries.

Anyone with relevant information that could assist the investigation is asked to contact PC 6498 Gemma Roo of the West Yorkshire Police City Neighbourhood Policing Team at Millgarth police station via 101 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
