Dancers bring exotic touch to festival

The Egyptia Dance Troupe was among those entertaining the crowds in Beeston, Leeds, as the community staged its annual festival.

Organised by residents, the sights and sounds of the festival turns Cross Flatts Park into a showpiece of multi-cultural life. As well as entertaining people, the aim of the festival is to promote racial harmony, community sports and arts and environmental education.

The organisers also aim to portray both Beeston and the park in a positive manner.
