Dead giant python found in canal
Police are appealing for information after a 16ft reticulated python big enough to attack humans was found dead in a canal near to Rishton, between Blackburn and Accrington, on Sunday aftenoon.
A reptile expert recovered the python, which is believed to have been around 12 to 15 years old and appears to have suffered from a respiratory disease.
