Detectives appeal to find victims of naked cameraman

Police are appealing for women who have been approached by a scantily-clad photographer to come forward.

The man, in varying stages of undress and carrying a camera and tripod, has approached joggers and walkers on rural lanes in East Yorkshire and asked them to take his picture.

He has been described as wearing everything from a homemade "mankini" to a thong. On occasion he's worn waistcoats, another time a ski hat and sunglasses.

Officers have described his behaviour as "odious and offensive".

Det Con Garry Vincent, from Beverley CID, appealed for women approached in the Raywell and Ferriby areas over the last two years to call them on 0845 60 60 222.

In the last two months police have received three reports of similar behaviour, two on Occupation Lane, Swanland and one in the woods at Raywell.

It follows the arrest of a 58-year-old Hull man in Welton Dale on May 22. He has been released on conditional bail.
