Doncaster teenager dies in van incident

Police believe the 15-year-old boy was standing on the tow bar at the rear of the Renault Trafic van and holding onto the roof.

Officers were called to the scene in Third Avenue, Woodlands, Doncaster, at about 6pm yesterday.

The victim had suffered serious head injurie and later died in Doncaster Royal Infirmary.

The driver of the van, an 18-year-old local man, was not injured.
