A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving following a crash where a 56-year-old woman died.

The collision happened on Saturday evening and involved a Honda Civic travelling towards Grenoside on the A61 Halifax Road, and a Nissan Micra. The Honda driver, a 22-year-old Sheffield man, was taken to hospital with potentially serious injuries and has been arrested.
