After serving his sentence, Robinson will be deported to his native Jamaica.

Det Con Ian Green of Huddersfield police said: “We are extremely pleased with the sentence given to Robinson....and hope it sends a warning message to people who think that they can supply drugs to the people of Kirklees and get away with it.

“The public should also be reassured by the fact that we have specialist drugs teams working around the clock to tackle people like Robinson.

“This has been another success in our battle against drugs and drug-related crime.”

He urged people with information to call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Robinson was sentenced at Bradford Crown Court.
