E-fit image released after alleged inappropriate comments made in Sheffield

Police have released an e-fit image of a man they want to speak to after inappropriate comments were allegedly made to a woman in Sheffield around three months ago.

A woman, 54, came forward last week to report an incident that took place in Sheffield at about 6.30pm on Friday, December 9.

She was walking along Harbord Road in the Woodseats area of the city towards the Spar shop on Abbey Lane.

As she walked down Harbord Road towards the junction of Abbey Lane, an unknown man is said to have approached her and asked for directions, before the woman continued towards the shop.

A short time later, the woman left the shop and began walking back towards Harbord Road.

She then saw the same man stood at the corner of Harbord Road, at the junction with Abbey Lane.

It is reported that the man approached the woman before making inappropriate comments to the her.

The woman was not injured during the incident.

The man is described as in his early-mid 30s, of a large build, about 5ft 10ins tall and spoke with a strong Sheffield accent.

He is thought to have been wearing a dark grey three quarter length anorak, dark casual trousers and white trainers.
