Eye surgery for womanassaulted by youths
A woman has undergone surgery to her eye after being assaulted by youths who had broken one of her windows.
The 41-year-old was admitted to Scarborough hospital after a missile was thrown at her when she approached the group who had earlier damaged the window at her home in Elma Villas, Bridlington. Three 16-year-old boys were in custody yesterday. Police are seeking witnesses to the incident on Tuesday.
