Family 'stranded by ryanair flight
Tourists say they were stranded on the wrong Canary island after their Ryanair flight was diverted because of bad weather and left to make their own arrangements to reach Lanzarote.
Kay Wright, 40, had to pay 400 for accommodation and a ferry crossing to Lanzarote the next day after flying from Bournemouth with three children. She claimed they were given no help by Ryanair.
A Ryanair spokeswoman apologised to passengers for the diversion, which was necessary for safety reasons.
