Flats flooded afterwater main bursts
A burst water main led to a flooding emergency at flats in Hull – forcing firefighters to stem the leak and isolate the electricity supply.
Seventeen homes were severely flooded in Thorpepark Road, Hull, shortly after 7.30pm on Saturday. Humberside fire service said the cause was a severed mains water pipe. Hull Council took over the incident.
