Four held over death ofman found lying in street
Police launched a murder inquiry after a man died following a street assault.
The victim, in his late 30s, was spotted lying on Saltshouse Lane in Hull, close to Drypool Bridge, by a member of the public, at 9.48am yesterday. The man, who has not been formally identified, died shortly after arriving at Hull Royal Infirmary. Four people have been arrested in connection with the incident – two Hull men, aged 35 and 34, and two Hull women, aged 32 and 30. They were being held at police stations in Hull.
