French helicopter missing in Antarctic
International rescuers were yesterday searching for a helicopter that disappeared in poor weather off Antarctica with four French people on board.
A distress beacon on the helicopter was activated on Thursday night, about 62 miles from the Dumont-d’Urville station in Antarctica, according to search co-ordinators in Australia.
