Generation 'assailedby images of death'

Young adults are being exposed to images of death on a greater scale than any previous generation, according to a study launched by the Church of England.

Those born from around 1982 onwards – the so-called “Generation Y” – have been “assailed” by the sight of death throughout their lives, from the September 11 attacks to “frighteningly realistic” scenes in films and computer games, according to the study.
