A superfan who customised a hearse to recreate the famous Ghostbusters car fears he is the victim of a vendetta after his replica was ruined and two family cars were torched.

Craig Micheli, from Sheffield, pictured above with his dream Ecto-1 replica before it was wrecked, says joyriders have dashed his hopes of running his own business.

A month on yobs have ruined two more family cars which were set alight just four days apart. Father-of-five Mr Micheli, 35, had toiled for 18 months to transform the second-hand hearse into a deadringer for the car made famous in the hit 80s film. But it was swiped from the family home last month.
