A month on yobs have ruined two more family cars which were set alight just four days apart. Father-of-five Mr Micheli, 35, had toiled for 18 months to transform the second-hand hearse into a deadringer for the car made famous in the hit 80s film. But it was swiped from the family home last month.

Joyriders wrecked the interior, stole lights from the roof and smashed the windscreen before returning it to the property. Mr Micheli said: “I am worried about the safety of my family.” picture: Tom Maddick/ross parry
