Girl hit in eye in air rifle attack

Louise Hudson, 17, almost lost her eye due to the attack which took place in Herringthorpe Valley Road, Rotherham.

She said: “I just saw a car and then something shot straight at my face. It felt just like a snooker ball had hit me.”

The teenager was sitting on a bench with friends at 9.20pm on Saturday, September 8 when her friends heard a “loud bang” and Louise slumped to the ground.

Police are hunting two white youths who were driving a black Vauxhall Corsa with tinted windows.
