Helping hand for zoo's tiny arrival

She may only be a few centimetres tall but this tiny addition to Chester Zoo is making a big impact.

Keepers are hand-rearing the tiny Kirk's dik-dik antelope, which will eventually grow to just 40 centimetres tall, after its mother abandoned it. The unnamed youngster is being bottle fed milk five times a day and will be given a helping hand until she is old enough to feed herself. Senior keeper Helen Massey said: "We hope she will be holding her own in the next few weeks."
