Humberside Police officers face misconduct hearing for '˜using excessive force'

Police Sergeant Christopher Wright and Police Constable Lee Curtis of Humberside Police will answer an allegation that their conduct amounted to a breach of the Standards of Professional Behaviour in respect of Use of Force contrary to the Police (Conduct) Regulations 2012.

It is alleged that inappropriate and excessive force was used during the process of detaining a member of the public following arrest.

The four-day hearing will start on June 6 from 10am.
