Hunt for youth who hit little boy in face

POLICE want to trace a teenager who hit a three-year-old boy in the face outside a shop in Leeds.

The little boy was with his grandma when the teenager, aged about 17, walked past and hit him because he was "standing in his way".

It happened at midday on Thursday on Stock Hill, Horsforth, outside the One Stop Community Shop.

Pc Clare Cope said: "This is a serious and unprovoked attack on a little boy. We would encourage anyone who may have been shopping or passing that day to come forward."
