IceSheffield set for high adventure

A NEW high ropes adventure course, "Aerial Extreme", is set to open at iceSheffield in Attercliffe next month.

The 250,000 course will feature obstacles such as rope bridges, scramble nets, zip wires, swinging logs and balance beams.

It is one of two new Aerial Extreme sites opening this year, the other being in Manchester.

Sinan Osman, managing director of Aerial Extreme, said: "We have been keen to bring Aerial Extreme to a big city like Sheffield for some time.

"Developing this type of course right in the heart of a city makes it much more accessible for adventurers of all ages to experience this unique urban activity."

Mandy Parker, general manager of iceSheffield, added: "It is fantastic that Aerial Extreme has chosen iceSheffield as one of the sites for a new urban course. It is a great boost for the local economy."
