Kate shares her fashion sense
The Duchess of Cambridge chose to make her maiden speech as a royal in a deep blue Reiss dress which appeared identical to one worn by her 57-year-old mother Carole, inset, to Royal Ascot in 2010.
The dress, which cost £139, is from the high street store’s autumn 2008 collection, giving another boost to the British label that she has worn on other occasions.
A St James’s Palace spokesman said the dress belonged to the Duchess, fuelling speculation that she has lent her mother the garment in the past.
