Leeds: Four arrested on suspicion of murder
FOUR people have been arrested on suspicion of murder after the death of a 57-year-old man in a village on the outskirts of Leeds.
West Yorkshire Police arrested a man aged 50, a woman aged 37 and two 16-year-old boys following the attack at a property on Middleton Lane, Thorpe, on Saturday night.
The arrests took place in the Barnsley and Doncaster areas last night and police say enquiries are ongoing while the suspects are in custody.
Detectives say the victim had been “seriously assaulted” by a number of men who had arrived on the scene in a vehicle.
