Leeds star finds out if the cap fits

Leeds United striker Jermaine Beckford trys the Yorkshire Regiment cap for size as the team were given a military-style work-out yesterday with the Army.

Players from the club’s first team, manager Simon Grayson and support staff joined soldiers from the Yorkshire Regiment to complete an Army assault course and work their way through military-themed problem solving.

The training exercises were staged at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks in Strensall on the outskirts of York and the players also had a chance to try out a laser range.
