Lighting up Hogmanay
Russell Gooderham of Kimbolton Fireworks sets up Edinburgh's Hogmanay Midnight Fireworks at Edinburgh Castle.
The display will have more than 2,000 individual fireworks using five miles of cables. Thousands of people are expected to attend the celebrations, with performances from well-known musicians from Scotland such as KT Tunstall.
