Mad Friday assaults on West Yorkshire Police in Leeds and Bradford are condemned

Police officers were beaten and spat on while responding to incidents in West Yorkshire during Mad Friday.

Three were assaulted during the space of just two hours in Bradford, while at least four more were injured in Leeds city centre.
