A statement released yesterday by Mr Wilburn's parents, Janet and Robert Wilburn, said: "Our Bri was a very loving son to us and caring brother to his brother Robert and sister Kerry.

"Bri was a very popular lad and would do anything for anyone. He had a heart of gold and he has been cruelly taken from us.

"Not only will he be sadly missed by his family and friends, he will be missed by everyone in Bentley as everyone knew him."

A large number of floral tributes have been left outside the house in The Avenue where Mr Wilburn was fatally stabbed.
