Man arrested overhit-and-run death
Police have arrested a man in connection with the hit-and-run death of a student almost three years ago.
Adam Toole was 18 when he was hit by a Rover car as he was crossing New Hey Road, Salendine Nook, Huddersfield, on the morning of March 6, 2007, He was taken to hospital but died of his injuries. The car failed to stop. Yesterday, West Yorkshire Police said they had arrested and questioned a 24-year-old man from the Oldham area. He has been bailed pending further inquiries.
