Man dies and two hurt in car crash
A man died and a boy and a woman were seriously injured in a car crash in East Yorkshire.
The 66-year-old from Driffield died in hospital after the Toyota Carina he was driving collided with a blue Toyota Lucida on the A166 between Fridaythorpe and Garrowby Hill at 5pm on Friday.
A 46-year-old woman and a boy aged four, who were in the Lucida, were taken to York District Hospital. The boy was later transferred to Leeds General Infirmary.
