Man faces trial over antique books theft
A Cambridge University graduate was yesterday ordered to stand trial at crown court accused of plundering antique books worth £50,000 from a London library.
William Jacques, 40, formerly of Selby, North Yorkshire, was remanded in custody yesterday at Westminster Magistrates’ Court.
