Man injured in collision with police car in Bradford

A 54-year-old man was taken to hospital with a neck injury following a collision with a police car in Bradford last night.

The car, a police marked Vauxhall Corsa, was being driven during a patrol in Manningham Lane when it was in collision with a male pedestrian, close to the junction with Valley Parade.

The man’s injury is not believed to be life-threatening but he was kept in the hospital overnight for observations.

The police officers were uninjured.

Police enquiries are continuing into the collision, which has been referred for further investigation.
