Milestone for £10m hospital
The first phase of a hospital development for Scarborough costing more than £10m has been completed.
Cross Lane Hospital is now preparing for its first patients to move into the new specialist mental health unit for older people later this month.
The accommodation replaces the outdated Rowan Lea building and will enable staff to provide more personal care for people with different needs such as Alzheimer’s or depression.
