Miliband visits grow-your-own project in town
LABOUR Party leader Ed Miliband visited a project in his Doncaster constituency which is aiming to get people growing their own food and living more healthily.
The project at the Circuit House community centre in Woodlands is the result of a £105,000 grant from the “Local Food” scheme and teaches people all aspects of growing their own fruit and veg.
Mr Miliband said: “This is a wonderful project that will enable people to improve their diet while offering them the opportunity to grow their own food.
“It will make a difference to the lives of residents in the area.”
