Minister powers up electric car discounts
Buyers of nine models of electric cars, including the Smart fortwo vehicle being shown off by television presenter Quentin Wilson, are to quality for 25 per cent grants announced yesterday by Transport Secretary Philip Hammond.
The Minister also said that more recharging points would be installed in the east of England, the Midlands, Greater Manchester, Northern Ireland and Scotland.
