Minster turning red for heart campaign
York Minster will turn red tonight to raise awareness of heart disease, claimed to be the Britain's biggest killer.
The British Heart Foundation is launching its national awareness month and the cathedral will be illuminated with the charity’s logo. One in five men and one in seven women die from heart disease – about 94,000 deaths in the UK each year.
