Model left feeling blue as Rainbow dream dies
Diamond, 22, from Cheshire, found herself in the sing-off of the BBC's talent show Over the Rainbow alongside fellow contestant Steph Fearon after the pair received the lowest number of public votes.
The eleven finalists were put through their paces during Saturday's live programme under the scrutiny of the show supremo himself alongside judges Charlotte Church, Sheila Hancock and John Partridge.

Diamond sang Big Girls Don't Cry by Fergie and while her vocals were praised, her glamorous image came under fire from the panel. Partridge urged her to be "a bit less MTV and a bit more West End".
During last night's results show, Fearon and Diamond went head to head for survival, singing Whistle Down the Wind, with Lord Lloyd-Webber opting to save Fearon.
He said: "In one sense you're both not right for Dorothy ... but tonight I have to save Steph. Amy, I genuinely think you're fantastically talented... but you're just not quite right for this role."

Speaking after her elimination Diamond, who previously modelled for The Sun and Nuts magazine, said she was pleased with her singing, but acknowledged her glamorous looks may have contributed to her early exit from the show.
She said: "Obviously I'm really upset, no one wants to go home. A tall, blonde Dorothy is not what people expect and may not have been what Andrew wanted, but I think Dorothy was a glamorous girl."
