Mothers put top chefsin the shade, poll finds
Mother knows best – at least when it comes to the kitchen, according to a survey released today.
Given the choice, 40 per cent of Britons would choose their mother’s home cooking over their partner’s or even a meal cooked by a top chef in a five star restaurant, a poll found.
Top meals were: roast dinner, shepherd’s pie, bangers and mash, sausage, chips and beans and a fry up.
The poll of 1,178 British adults was commissioned by Richmond Sausages.
