Motorcyclist putsout garage blaze
A motorcyclist put out a fire in his garage despite suffering the effects of smoke.
The man was refuelling his bike but the hose was not connected properly to the tank. Leaking petrol was ignited by a gas heater.
The man, 51, put out the flames with a garden hose before the arrival of firefighters at the property in Ashdale Road, Dunnington, York. He was treated at the scene by paramedics after the accident on Thursday morning.
