Mounting loss puts firm into administration

A shop-fitting business whose clients include restaurant chains Nandos and Frankie & Benny's has gone into administration following mounting losses.

GF Group and its two subsidiaries, Inform Manufacturing and GF Interiors, called in the administrators following several months of poor trading.

Joint administrators Charles Brook and Peter Sargent of Begbies Traynor said they were assessing the steps required to stabilise the business and allow time to seek a buyer for the company as a going concern.

They said the possibility of redundancies could not be ruled out. The firm which employs 120 staff at its head office in Gooder Lane, Brighouse.

The firm will continue to trade for the time being and the administrators are trying to ensure that existing contracts are completed. The business has a 15m turnover.
