Not even in their teens, but sadistic brothers had all these previous convictions...

THE two brothers who viciously attacked two young boys had previously committed a number of violent offences, including headbutting a teacher and attacking a mother.

Details of their offending was read to Sheffield Crown Court by prosecuting barrister Nicholas Campbell QC.

March 20, 2009: The younger brother, then aged 10, attacked two tutors at the education centre at which he was a pupil.

The boy first punched a 50-year-old female tutor in the abdomen after being reprimanded for his behaviour.

He was restrained by another tutor, a 53-year-old man, but headbutted him when he was released.

He received a reprimand for assault occasioning actual bodily harm and common assault.

January 19, 2009: The older brother, then aged 11, punched a 50-year-old male tutor at his educational centre twice in the stomach as he tried to stop him fighting with another pupil.

He was convicted of battery.

October 9, 2008: The older brother, then aged 11, punched and kicked a 52-year-old male member of staff at his education centre after he intervened in an altercation between him and another child.

He was convicted of battery.

August 19, 2008: The older brother, then aged 11, was part of a group who attacked a mother, who was with her five children, including infant twins.

Mr Campbell said the group shouted at the woman's eight-year-old son: "I will kill you, you f****** bastard. We're going to bray you."

The group made an attempt to punch the boy but instead punched the woman twice when she intervened.

Another youth joined the group and tried to hit the eight-year-old with an implement, possibly a rolled-up magazine, but instead struck the mother, who ran into a nearby shop in a "hysterical" state.

The older brother was convicted of battery.

November 1, 2007: The older brother, then aged 10, was part of a group of three who tried to steal a handbag from a 65-year-old woman.

He received a warning for attempted theft.

September 24, 2007: The older brother, then aged 10, punched an 11-year-old boy twice in the face, causing bruising to both cheeks.

He was convicted of common assault.

June 24, 2007: Both brothers, then aged eight and 10, approached an 11-year-old boy in a park, held him around the neck and pushed him backwards.

The older brother then hit him in the head, neck and back, leaving the victim with bruising to the top of his head and back.

The older brother received a reprimand for assault occasioning actual bodily harm.
