IN response to Mr Dave Smith’s letter (The Yorkshire Post, March 28), yes I do agree with you. I always enjoy receiving letters, cards and sometimes photos. I send letters and cards to many people during the year. It is the thought that counts and it is more personal to communicate in this way.

I BELIEVE a major factor underlying the perceived failure of parents to recognise obesity in their offspring (The Yorkshire Post, March 30) lies in their realisation that this problem reflects a failure on their part to ensure dietary moderation and adequate exercise.
