Commending the sisters

From: John Browell, Moorlands Road, Birkenshaw, Bradford.

AS Frank Field MP says in

anuary 14), there can be no argument against women becoming priests and
bishops, after all St Paul
talks of several in his letters, notably Phoebe (Romans 16,
verse 1-3).

From: Brian Sheridan, Redmires Road, Sheffield.

Drop of York remembered

From: M D Addy, West Street, Hoyland, Barnsley.

My mother had a saying which expressed the same sentiment which was: “I’ll be hanged if that’s true.”
