WITH regard to recent letters to The Yorkshire Post full mosques and not so full churches: “When I admire the wonders of a sunset or the beauty of the moon, my soul expands in the worship of the creator.” Wisdom from Mahatma Gandhi, which may apply to us all.

WHAT does it say about Yorkshire goodwill when Northern Rail staff at Leeds Station cannot, because of the health and safety rule book, help a passenger who had slipped down an escalator? I am ashamed to live in the same county as these individuals – and the directors of this failed rail operator who continue to set an appalling example of public service.
